Website copy editor, free beta

Edit your live site copy.
Skip the deploy.

Add one script tag and every text section on your public pages becomes editable from a dashboard. Changes reach visitors in about five minutes, and version history keeps every earlier wording one click away.

The situation

A one-word change should not need a release.

On most sites, wording lives in the codebase or a CMS template. Fixing an awkward sentence means a ticket, a branch, a review and a deploy, so small improvements queue behind engineering work and quietly never ship. The copy you have is rarely the copy you would choose; it is the copy that was cheapest to leave alone.

How it works in practice

What you actually get.

Every section, editable

The crawler reads the public pages you select and turns each text block into something you can rewrite from the dashboard. Markup, links, attributes and accessibility semantics are untouched: only text nodes change.

Version history with restore

Each section keeps its recent versions, newest first, including the AI rewrite that a manual edit replaced. Restoring an earlier wording is one click, so experimenting costs nothing.

Removing it restores everything

Delete the script tag and your original text is back immediately. Nothing is rewritten at the source, so there is no migration to undo and no lock-in.

Three steps

Getting there.

1

Paste a public URL and see a before/after preview of a few sections.

2

Add the one-line snippet before your closing </body> tag and deploy once.

3

Edit any section from the dashboard. Changes go live in about five minutes, with no further deploys.

Known limits, stated plainly

What this does not do.

The crawler reads the HTML your server sends, so pages whose text only appears after a browser-side fetch are not processed. Because replacement happens in the visitor's browser after load, it is not guaranteed to change what search engines index: treat this as a tool for your readers, not as an SEO tactic. Only the public editorial pages you select are processed, never forms, checkout or authenticated pages.

Common questions

Questions people ask first.

Do I need to change my CMS?

No. The snippet works alongside whatever you already publish with. Your source content stays where it is, and removing the snippet restores the original text.

How quickly do edits appear?

About five minutes. Edits are written to a cached manifest that visitors' browsers fetch, so there is no build or deploy step in between.

Will this change how my site is indexed?

It is not guaranteed to. Replacement happens in the visitor's browser after the page loads, so search-engine crawlers may index your original text. Use it to improve what readers see, not as a ranking tactic.
